Toodoped: Thanks buddy! We should continue fighting against these lying paying sites and to protect everyone on this forum, especially the younger generation or posters.
Toodoped: these days lots of people that I know lost their families and everything they had because its legit and even youngsters can chip in
Toodoped: Same as the mob paying sites...ppl pay for "Disneyland" and wiki mob stuff, something which they can find it on their own with a simple google search
VanillaLimeCoke: Lousy school violence these days. Not even a 6th of the way through September and we've already had a psychotic violent school shooting.
Toodoped: Word. Few days ago, over here, they caught one teenager with a gun and more than 60 bullets, while going to school. I wonder what was his plan ?!

NYMafia: Hey! Paisan. Thatsa Somma Spicy Meeta Balla U Gotta Da, Kid!
Good stuff. I like how a lot of them are put in context, you see the response to a previous hit. Of especial effect was Ralphie killing Tracy, then being killed by Tony, missing out an entire season of bonding between the two.
Vito's is probably the most brutal after Tracy's murder. Palmice's is still the most satisfying.
It's coincidence that seasons one and two are the most popular here, with the most hits.
I fucking love this show.
...dot com bold typeface rhetoric. You go clickety click and get your head split. 'The hell you look like on a message board Discussing whether or not the Brother is hardcore?
Palmice getting popped was satisfying, however, I think that Richie Aprile's would have been the most satisfying, had it not been so sudden and had it not been Janice who pulled the trigger.
Remember, in season 2, Janice was at her most despicable, so as happy as you were to see Richie go, it had to bug you a bit that it was Janice who did him in.
It was one of the most despicable characters on tv killing another of the most despicable characters on tv. The equivelant of watching Saddam Hussein kill Osama Bin Laden.

Wow!!! I don't even remember all of them!!! That's great though. Nothing like a good whacking or two to prepare use for the final season.

I've always felt that Chase purposely did it that way to show us that deep down Janice was a Soprano and was no different than her mother or her brother.

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

Oh, absolutely DC. If Janice initially had her way, Richie may have taken out her own brother for her.
Don't forget how she instigated him about Tony having all the money even though Richie did 10 years in the joint, etc...
A Soprano no doubt, but a Soprano with absolutely no conscience. The whole precept of the show, before it became a cultural phenomenon, was Tony's conscience. People without conscience don't willingly go to psychiatrists.
Great point !

The Mafia Is Not Primarily An Organisation Of Murderers. First And Foremost,The Mafia Is Made Up Of Thieves. It Is Driven By Greed And Controlled By Fear.
Between The Law And The Mafia, The Law Is Not The Most To Be Feared

Believe it or not, I was disappointed when Richie was whacked. I actually quite enjoyed his character. By the way he's portrayed, you were supposed to hate him. But I actually liked him. It would have been nice (at least IMO) to have seen him stick around for a few seasons. Maybe join up with Johnny Sacks in New York, and become a very legitimate threat to Tony and his organization.
And hell...if Tony is to be whacked at the end of this final season...it would have been neat seeing it carried out by Richie.

I don't think Chase will kill Tony off, for personal as well as practical reasons.
First the personal: I think it's clear that although Chase is not a gangster, he clearly sees Tony as himself. From the beginning he's stated that the relationship between Tony and Livia was based on his own mother and himself. I just don't think he can bring himself to do it.
As for the practical reason: I don't care what he says about this being the end. If 5 or 7 years from now he's offered a ridiculous amount of money to do a movie or even a 6 hour mini series for HBO, he's gonna want to do it.
If he kills off Tony, he closes that door forever.

Well if he kills Paulie, Silvio, Christopher, and Bobby would it be any different?

I really don't think Tony will get killed off in the final season. Maybe he'll "lose" something (i.e. his status, a family member). If Chase has any thought of ever possibly making a movie and/or continuing the series, he can't kill Tony off IMHO.
Then again, this show can surprise you. I am looking forward more and more to seeing the final episodes.
