With all due respect, I honestly don't think DJ is the type to be offended by a joke of the kind. That's right up his alley. It's absurd to be offended by the thought of your mother and father being wronged by a material possession to begin with.
DJ is a smart, well-humored guy. If he's offended by such context, I bet the universe would implode.
