I live in between the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges, about a half mile from the Bruckner, so if there's no traffic, like 10 minutes. I'm actually closer to Shea, in terms of miles, but the bridge slows the trip down quite a bit.

Newburgh is nice. As a kid, we had a summer house on the other side of the Bear Mountain Bridge, and a little further north in Copake, NY. I love upstate NY, it brings back alot of great childhood summertime memories. We'd go up for like a whole month, then take day trips, west to Cooperstown (huge baseball loving family) or east, into Mass. From that location, you can get to alot of nice vacation spots. Hunter Mountain to Lake George, I've been to them all.
