In honor of President's Day, who was the President at the time of your birth????

Reaching way way back in my memory, Ike is the first President I remember....however, Truman was President when I was born. Yes folks, way back in the Stone age.

I don't have a memory of his Presidency, but remember seeing clips of him in later years. One in particular when a reporter asks him, "What are you going to do now?" And Truman says, I'm gonna go back to work if you guys let me!" (something to that effect ). He seemed rather sarcastic but it made me laugh.

I must have been about 7/8 or so when I was downtown with my mother and Eisenhower was there (I assume maybe campaigning, don't know) and a lot of people had the "I Like Ike" buttons. That's all I really remember.
