I don't recommend "The Untouchables" there are just so many things I hate about the film itself. The one thing I hate is how De Palma kills Frank Nitti, who in real life commits suicide but in the movie gets thrown off a building by Elliot Ness. Now he doesn't have to watch the movie! You've already told him how one of the subplots turns out!

The Untouchables is a pretty good movie. Not great, not horrible, but pretty good. And while some of the real life factual events are turned and twisted to suit hollywood's desire to put their spin on things, it is an entertaining movie that is made that much better by a spectacular performance by Sean Connery. Connery's acting alone is worth the price of addmission for that movie.

And of course Robert DeNiro is vintage DeNiro playing the part of Al Capone.

It's definitely worth a viewing or two. You'll enjoy it.
