Here's a couple of hints. He was very well known in the NWA, and was always a "Dirty" heel. He came to the WWF in the late 80's and for some reason Vince McMahon made him a baby-face named "The Rebel", which failed miserably.
He was arrested in 2003 for allegedly trying to stab his girlfriend to death while under the influence of drugs, but was only sentenced to 1 year of house arrest in 2004.
