Maybe when the show finishs,they could do a prequal on the early family.
When they were talking about a Sopranos movie a few years back, I actually hoped they would do at least a parallel between Johnny and Tony Soprano - a la - GF II They'd probably just mess it up though. Does anybody remember lame attempts at "The Early Years" in such shows as Bonanza, Dallas, etc.... ? You don't ? That's my point
