SC, I believe covert racism has many forms. I was alluding to JJ's description of me as an arrogant foreigner. Now he didn't refer to a thick Paddy or a bog trotter. What JJ has (IMO) is a typical island mentality where everthing that is not (in this case) American should be treated with a healthy dose of suspicion. He feels comfortable being one of the pack, he needs to belong, so he immediately tries to point out that I'm an outsider (he's not one of us, not the same as you and me). He wants to please the pack leaders, those who he looks up to (Apple & Don Cardi). It's known as the pack mentality or herd brhaviour.
