Maybe funny, definetly subtle: After the hit on Don Vito; Sonny/ Tom, Sally, Clemenza are talking strategy. Sonny wants to kill everyone and Tom is trying to be reasonable. Sonny is sitting down and Tom comes over to him explaining about how all the judges and politicians would run and hide.
