What's the difference between an amateur film and a professional film?
That's a pretty obvious question...
Actually, it is an obvious question. But the answer is not. Or at least, you haven't answered it. What separates the two?
Would you consider yourself a prostitute to the audience?
What are you getting personally out of remaking
The Godfather III?
I think making a film is, or should be, one of the most personal things that you can do. It's like writing a poem but making yourself completely naked not only to yourself but to others, because the camera strips far more intensely than a pen does.
I'm getting personal because I think there should be a personal reason or motivation to remake a film. Peter Jackson's remake of
King Kong was very personal, for instance, and because of that very good. What kind of personal questions are raising their heads inside of your head?
And, why do I get a strange sensation that you're a complete and utter phony?
Instead of blindly asking others for a chance, perhaps you should be asking yourself why nobody has faith in you.
