The best thing about Rocky is that some of the scenes that I love the most were done in order to save money. For example, the ice-skating scene was rescripted because Stallone didn't have enough money for the extras that were called for originally.

Also, even though he loses the fight, the audience was supposed to rush in and carry Rocky out on their shoulders. Again, no money for extras. That's why we saw the famous Adrian! Rocky! scene.
