No the problem is that when people label other people as a group and then go out of their way to insult that said group it usually pisses people off.
Who's going out of who's way to insult that group? Last time I checked, it was you the other day in the shoutbox, Mr. Maturity, who was badmouthing the Brat Pack. How mature...discussing other members on a public forum. Very, very mature.
