giving everyone the benefit of assuming that they're sharp enough to absorb & take a joke is too much credit? if that's true, i think i want to disown the human race.
fact is: i've spoken with capo once or twice in PM, i even joined his old film-related message board, i hold no animosity towards him -- so i assumed that he would reply light-heartedly as well, & that would be that; i didn't intend on upsetting people uninvolved & getting viciously attacked because obviously everyone is too uptight to have some fun with humor.
