Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, FL-9311

• June 2006 – Present: Operations Commander of the Cadet Corps, overseeing overall supervision of all corps flight commanders, keeping them on task and helping them maintain control of their designated flights and the cadets in them. Also responsible for planning of all corps extracurricular activities including field trips and traveling to competition. Rank: Major, until promotion to Lieutenant Colonel in October of 2006. Fourth overall in chain of command of the corps.
• June 2005 – June 2006: Financial Management Officer of the Cadet Corps. In charge of maintaining unit finances by collecting all dues and monies, counting and keeping track of the exact amounts which ranged in the several of thousands, then depositing them into the appropriate accounts. Also in charge of Fundraising Committee. Rank: Captain, after promotion from 1st Lieutenant in June. Promotion to Major in March of 2006.
• September 2004 – June 2005: Public Affairs Officer of the Cadet Corps. In charge of producing a periodical newsletter for, and representative of, the entire corps which informs the corps of current cadet activities, past Air Force legacy and future events. Rank: 2nd Lieutenant. Promoted in May of 2005 to 1st Lieutenant.
