Well i kno for a fact, when vito was shot the oranges were intentional which is one of the earlier scenes so maybe its just somethin he decided from the beginning.
I kno this becuase if u notice the angle where vito is shit, is from above so u easily notice the oranges being knocked over, FFC said he did it purposely so everyone would see the oranges
