I´m not that much of an GF III enthusiast anyway, but the Mary x Vincent love didn´t convince me, and not only because the incest was icky.

When I watched the movie (numerous times...) I never really believed Vincent was that much into Mary. She had a crush on him all right, she practically sought him out...but he never really seemed to take THAT much interest in her.
He seemed to like her, flirt with her, and my guess would be he was fascinated that she was the Don´s daughter and all. But he didn´t seem to love her, which made the whole "severe ties with your love for business"-turnout a bit anticlimactic to me.

But maybe it was simply the Garcia/Coppola-vibe not workin´, I´m not sure. smile

Best,
TM
P.S.: Hello, I´m new. blush
