Maris won 2 league MVP awards. The only other player to have won 2 league MVPs, and is HOF eligible, but is not in the Hall is Dale Murphy.

I agree Maris belongs.

I'd love to see Howard surpass 61 HRs this year. It will be tough because if the Wild Card race remains hot, teams will be even less likely to give the big guy pitches to hit.
