I guess that is what makes the world go around. While you see an auto draft as "defeating the purpose" I look at it differently. I enjoy being 'given' a team, almost as if being hired to a team with players already in place and then seeing if I have the ability to imrove that team through free agent signings, sleeper signings and trades. I like the General Manager aspect of Fantasy Sports as well as the coaching aspect.

The only 'live drafts' that I ever enjoyed were face to face ones where the team owners would get together in a bar or the back of a restaurant to hold the draft. Having a live draft on a computer just doesn't cut it for me. I get bored very quickly.
