I hate that I didn't had the time to join this game, due to tests as school.
Because I could've win this!!!
I mean, the so-called experts suck bigtime, and the rest barely knows a football teams consists out of 11 players.

I really hope there will be fantasy soccer games again on these boards. Champions League maybe...

yeah, I admit, I suck. and there's no chance of comeback, since there are probably only 1 or 2 (or maybe no one) surprises left.

and by the way, OH MY GOD, the English Team sucks!!! these guys can't play a good game. I watched all of their 4 games and they SUCKED from the first 'til the last minute of all of them.

end of the road now, they'll get kicked out by whoever they face in the quarter finals. 4 years from now, both Cole and Gerrard will be past their prime, then it's over. god save the queen!

Ah, this is played real cute. They've made the favourites of each match play "Away", so to catch out those who just leave the fantasy league to play out for itself without making an effort.

As a result, I lost yesterday's two games, and the England game today, because I couldn't get to the computer. Ouch.

Just makes my eventual victory in this game even more impressive.

I must disagree with your rating of England's performance today, though, Tony. I thought we put in our best performance, with many plus-points to come out of it. We're playing gritty football, sufficiently good enough to knock Ecuador out. I have a feeling we're going to raise our game when needed. And so far, we haven't needed to.

yeah I see your point. I also believe they'll get at least a bit better (it'd take veeery little to do that).

but remember, if Sweden (actually, Paraguay) was a little luckier, you'd be out already.

If Serbia Montenegro were a little luckier, they may have beat Argentina 6-0.

well man I have to admit I based what I was saying in the false belief I had that if Sweden had beaten you 3-2 you'd be 3rd in the group. a little bit later I checked and found out I was wrong but I only bothered to come here apologize after the Portugal-Holland match - what-a-game! - anyway, I used the wrong argumment but I still think England is a bum team. and I say that because I know they have great players and I believe they should be one of the best teams in the tournament, but I am absolutely disappointed and I'm convinced sir Eriksson is one of the most overrated coaches I have ever seen.

England's chances are a lot better with the portuguese team falling apart, but I still believe Portugal will win.

Whatever Portugal and Argentina with their fast attacking people will eat you alive. Unless Terry and Ferdinand cut them in half. Which they can and will do.

This game's a load of fucking tosser bollocks. I chose Ukraine to beat the Swiss, and they do (albeit on penalties), but I lose because it was 0-0? What the fuck is up with that?

It's fun to stay in the YMCA
The last 16 games were all elementary as far as I was concerned. Only France beating Spain was the real surprise. I honestly thought the majority of us would be picking the same teams for all those games.

Now the Quarters are much more difficult. This'll split the men from the boys.

You don't want to fight me, Mick. I'm a dirty fighter. I'd kick your shins and pull out your eyebrows. Then I'd lick your bum.

By the way ESPN fixed the point for the Ukraine game.
