I'm tied for 2nd?! Who're Suz & Adak1 ? I didn't pick *any* draws. Only wusses end a game in a draw. :p Originally posted by Capo de La Cosa Nostra: By the way, when (yes, when) I win this game, how will my name be initialised on the winners header? We won't have to worry about that, I don't think. :p But, I'm leaning towards CA or CAP...

As I said before, there should be no ties!! WTF? Do they even attempt a tie-breaker after regulation??

Do they even attempt a tie-breaker after regulation?? I guess that's one of the reasons football will never truly take off in the US. In football there's so much diversity to the talent of teams, for example, Togo are for the first time EVER in the world cup this year. For them to even get a draw and a point will be quite an achievment for them if they do it. Quite a contrast to most US sports where they're based on the same teams, salary caps and drafts etc. Because of that balance most teams can remain competitive or at least winning comes in cycles. Some countries and teams will never be able to be competitive on the world scale and have to base success on something other than winning it all. And of course, draws on the road (not applicable in this game really) against good and better teams are often good results. Those points add up. Am I ranting like Plaw here? No he'd go on quite a bit longer.
