Mmm. About the last half hour you're right, but a lot of yellow cards where correct. Doesn't matter if there are already 100 card given, a hard fault must be given a yellow card.
Nevertheless, some things were seen very wrong by the referee, like the second yellow card of Boulahrouz after the Figo was playing some excellent theatre.
