After an 11 day streak in which PL trimmed the lead to 66 points, DB has stopped the bleeding the last two days, and now leads by a somewhat more comfortable 89 points.
Meanwhile, as the Gangster BB Fantasy Game World waits for TM to start missing a few days already, JL announces that he's ready do be poked with the proverbial fork.
JG, who, rumor has it, has fallen in love with Giants' Jason Schmidt, has finally made some significant progress in his attempt to crawl out of 5th place, while CC, who is 255 points out of 5th, but has a 158 point lead over the guy in 7th, seems to be going nowhere.
And that "guy in 7th"? None other than DC - the man who is handing out those tissue boxes at a record pace. Just make sure you keep enough for yourself, there....
An enigma? A disappointment? What can we say about GG? Enthusiastic to the point of starting her own league elsewhere and handing out instruction sheets to the players besides, the heir apparent to the "Fantasy Sports Nerd" throne has mysteriously faded away to almost nowhere.
SC, the man who started three days late, has made a respectable showing, considering. Or has he? Let's give him an additional 200 points - a rather liberal total, too, don't you think? - for the three days he missed. That gets him all the way up to 2570, which is good enough for 7th place instead of 9th. Hmmmm......
And finally there's LZ, better known to her more intimate fantasy associates as "Last Place Lizzie". Just when we think she's out, she goes and changes her team and pulls us back in.
