Pitching wasn't exactly the name of the game yesterday.

Plenty of offense throughout the majors last night; 15 games, 174 runs scored, 11.6 per game.....

Meanwhile, most of us were betrayed by the Houston relievers and the 10 runs Milwaukee scored in the last 3 innings, 8 of them charged to the 'pen.

Not to mention the outstanding performance (-20) turned in by the "Big Unit", mitigiated only somewhat by the +7 notched by the Yanks relievers, burning CC; and the St. Louis staff, led by John Suppan's -28, which screwed SC.

Only the White Sox, with their +26 propelling TM into first place, and JL's Seattle, led by phenom Felix Hernandez, with their +6, managed to turn in a positive pitching score for any of us last night.

(Unless you count LZ also....)
