I never understood the point of THE GODFATHER films redone chronologically. The reason PART II is so great is because 2 different time periods show contrast and comparison between a Don and his son. Even though the first 2 films jump around in time, it's never difficult to follow. I love them the way it is. Making the films in cronological order is to destroy art...
