I belive they could but why would you want them to do that in the first place? I have this dvd in my collection, It's 375 minutes and it's all on one disc (double sided) plus there are extras, but the sound is not 5.1 stereo and the picture is not quite as crisp. On the cover it also says "DVD 18" whatever that meens.
