You should keep your cards close to chest Double J.

Anyway, I'm going for Emmit Smith.

Why, so that you can trade him for Jerry Rice later?

Pssht, everyone knew I was a McGahee mark since last season.

Besides, I'd probably trade for Losman just to have another Bill on my roster (btw - Geoff you can keep Bledsoe :p ).

I can't help but feel a bit nervous that DB hasn't been around a while - and the draft is today!

Yeah that's my fault. I told him the draft has been postponed until next week. Sucker.

But enough about me....what would you guys do if DB wasn't around? Just as long as you all don't fight over the same Johnson.

Bad news for me. I've just come online to pre rank my players because I may not be able to make tonight (which I've been looking forward to for a long time especially since my other Yahoo fantasy game was a boring automated draft). I hope I can make it but if not I'll be whining like Double J was last year because I'll end up with a shite team. :p

I might not be able to make the draft tonight! I have rush social at a fraternity that I might be pledging. I don't know what time it starts yet.

Would I be allowed to have a friend draft for me?

You can pre-rank your picks just in case...

My question is, if I were to pre-rank my picks, can I still override those live? I don't want a thunderstorm to come in and cause me to shut down in the middle of it; but can I pre-rank and still override during the draft?

FC - Like JG said, you could always prerank your players. With that said, I don't have any problem with a friend drafting for you. Two things...

1 - He better not be obnoxious.
2 - No complaining later on in the year when you are in 10th place because of a bad draft. :p

Just kidding with ya, FC. Good luck tonight.

JG - You can always override a pre-rank list during a live draft. It's up to you who you choose, list or not. However, if your computer locks you out somehow, yahoo will choose from your list.

Try to make it Turi. If not, I'll log on as you and choose an all-Steelers team. :p

Is it better to pre-rank or not. I've made a pre-rank roster, but now I'm thinking maybe I should just kill that.

Dunno. It killed me last year when the draft got moved back, and I didn't come in until 15 minutes later. I put players higher on the chart so I wouldn't forget them if they were available late, though some (McGahee, Lee Evans) turned out to be good, I could've had much better picks.

Basically, if you show up, you'll be fine, Bethie.

I have to apologize. I ran the test a long time ago and everything worked just fine. I've done at least 50 online drafts on yahoo throughout the year, but that was in my old apartment. I didn't even think to test it out in my new one and the firewall is blocking the online draft tool. I guess I'll just to have to sink and swim with the players yahoo picks for me. I really don't give a shit either way since there isn't money involved so winning is irrelevent, but I just wanted to let you guys know why I wasn't there.
