Hey I need some advice from you guys. I've been getting mixed reviews about the the trilogy on DVD so I was wondering, should I buy the movies seperately or buy the Trilogy? If I buy the Godfather DVD's seperately they come to less then if I buy the Godfather Trilogy. So what do you guys say? Is the Godfather Trilogy worth the money? Or should I get the DVD's seperately?

They don't have the Godfather sperately on DVD? I assumed they did because they have the three seperate Godfathers on VHS. Well GoodFella thanks so Godfather Trilogy it is.

Don Aleksander firstly hiya and welcome I too have the first 3 films on vhs as stand alone films. The DVD set is awesome though. It is a 5 disc set GF is on one disc, gf 2 is on 2 discs and gf3 is on one disc. Then, there is a great 'bonus disc' full of stuff (look out for the 'easter eggs postings, here on the BB about how to find extra stuff on the DVD use the search feature) I also got the trilogy 25th anniversary boxed set which includes most (if not all) of the deleted scenes/added footage, on VHS. The individual films on VHS pale into comparison!! FH

I heard the extras weren't as good because half of what the discussed was GFIII.

DA The DVD collection is worth it. Like Turnbull stated, the Bonus Disc is amazing. The deleted scenes are outstanding on their own merit. But the disc also contains the original trailers, an alternate opening to III, the behind-the-scenes documentary (An Inside Look is the official title) and much more. Then you have the actual films, which is the whole point. I probably watch GF1 & 2 once p/month. And I always seem to pick up something new with each viewing. I spent $79 on the DVD set. I have yet to find all three GF movies sold separately on DVD. Anyone who has a DVD player should own the GF set. Roth: And I said to myself, this is the business we've chosen. I didn't ask who gave the order-because it had nothing to with business.

The Bonus disc is the jewel to the collection. But you also get FFC's commentary during all three films. Hands down the best DVD box out there.

And you liar, teller of tall tales: you trample all the Lord's commandments underfoot, you murder, steal, commit adultery, and afterward break into tears, beat your breast, take down your guitar and turn sin into a song. Shrewd devil, you know very well that God pardons singers no matter what they do, because he can simply die for a song.
