In addition to not being able to write, you're awfully naive to think "they play for a ring." Wake up and realize that many of the modern era NBAers put themselves far ahead of their team.
I can name one or two players from every team who fits that description. Perfect example: Kobe Bryant - he gets Phil & Shaq cast off after winning 3 titles with them b/c he thinks he can win without them. Shaq was in the confernce finals with his new team while Kobe was watching the playoffs from home.
