I've been hearing news about Torre, but I assume it's all been speculation so far. I certainly don't know the ins and outs of the Yankee club to judge whether or not he should stay, but from what I've seen, I don't think he did a bad job. Like you said, it was an accomplishment for NY to get as far as they did, when you consider the injuries they were faced with.

I didn't mention it here, but our pitching coach, Jim Hickey, was fired shortly after our season ended. I honestly don't understand the move. As far as I could tell, he seemed very well-respected and effective, and I don't see what good his departure will do.
