You gals remind me of my mom so much, because she's the same way with her shows. I'm like her secretary while she's watching CSI, AI, Law and Order, or whatever else it is, because I have to handle all her phone calls. If I make the mistake of trying to talk to her, not realizing she's watching a show, she goes nuts, and if people are over, no matter who it is, they become her immediate enemy. She tapes most of the shows, because she's usually very busy, and she ends up with piles of tapes that she hasn't watched.

She does so much, and she doesn't have much free time, so I'm glad she gets to do something she enjoys. The only time it gets me a tad bit upset is during times like last week - it was the opening week of baseball, of my Astros, of what I'd waited months for, and she had American Idol going in two rooms (one being the kitchen) - here I am, trying to get my homework done, along with dinner, and I'm running up and down the hallway just to keep tabs on the score.

Oh well. My reparation comes in her allowing me to stay up late for late games and fantasy baseball.
