these stats are getting more useful by the day! I had a BIG curiosity to do something like that (figuring a way to know how I would go if I didn't miss so many days), but I never thought of a way of doing it.
the best way for us to see it is gonna be the second half (when I won't miss ANY days).

PS: the 'penis' post by JGeoff is the best of the year so far

If that's what you think the best team is then whose to say if it's good or not.

Well, I see you managed to register. That's a good start.

But you already missed picking a team for today. That's a bad start.

That's your team for tomorrow, (Wednesday) right?

I guess it's OK, but what do I know?

Looks like you had some cap room left over, though, so you might have been able to do better than Bowen or Robinson at the forwards.

But that's about all the strategy help you're gonna get from me. You're on your own now. :p

I will offer my own strategy help for you. DON'T post your lineup on here. The idea is to have the best lineup, if yours is good others might take it.

Asstgm is not working for me right now, not sure if they changed the link or something but this is for the new players
http://www.arsiva.com/nba/fastbreak/showpicks.aspx?type=group&id=47375

It usually updates every hour, so you can click on that link and see your updated score along with everyone else's.

BACK FROM VACATION...

First of all, congratulations to Plaw for your win in the first half. Picks were once again masterful. Great job!

Second, welcome to the beginners. Good luck and hope you have a fun time. One piece of strategy that I can give you is to play everyday. That alone will get you 80% of the way to being competitive.

Third - thanks for the stats plaw. Very interesting, indeed.

Thanks for the kind words, DB. I don't consider my win to be official until I hear from you.

So what happened to our MBP? I had high hopes for him in the second half. I thought he could have at least made a run at the top four.

Let me add DE NIRO to the predictions:

DN
1st Half Odds: Didn't play 1st half
1st Half Predicted Finish: N/A
1st Half Actual Finish: N/A

What can a Brit know about the NBA? Probably not as much as Turi knows about the NFL. I do have a feeling, though, that we'll be reading many interesting and on-point posts from DN in the coming weeks, even if he has no idea about the rules of grammar, punctuation, or spelling. As far as his game performance goes, I'm not expecting much. TM and SP seemed filled with a new resolve to not miss any days, so I'm afraid that I have to predict that DN will become the new cellar dweller.
Predicted Finish: Last
Odds: 150-1

nice idea Plaw, and it's impressive the fac that I agree with nearly ALL of your picks.

Lebron deserves a special mention for MVP, but KG surely was a little better despite the fact that his numbers have went down.

Looks like some positions got swapped. Wade is now a SG and Amare is at C...
