Code:

Watch out, JG.

Someone else looking to take you to the cleaners

If he's trying to give you Ron Dayne for Fred Taylor, don't do it.

Problem is, I have WR's up the ass. (Wait, that sounded wrong.) Tho I have no prob w/ the K and Def you're offering, I can't afford to lose a RB, especially my best one, and also cuz of bye weeks coming up -- and Dayne wouldn't cut it for Taylor If I had another decent RB, I'd consider it more strongly...

What if instead of Toomer, I offered you Eddie George, along with the Kicker and the Patriots defense?

That may be good for me for a few reasons - can I let you know later tonight?

It's not a "steal" if it benefits me in the long run, is it? :p

Long run, short run....what difference does it make?

Even if you win 8 in a row, 8-6 ain't makin' the playoffs.

RB - I sent you a counter offer. If it's okay with you, go for it. If not, we'll discuss more...

I cant afford to lose Harrison, even though his numbers have been less than pleasing. So heres a simpler counter offer.

THIS JUST IN !!!!

Reche Caldwell is out for the season with a torn ligament in his right knee.

So I go and look up who has Caldwell - and to no surprise it was PORK. We should start calling him M*A*S*H*

It's like every week this guy loses a starter.

In the future why don't you just send this information directly to your MWA and save Pork room on his server - since your MWA is the only one that reads this stuff. :p

And regarding your trade - I am gonna vote NO. And not because I don't think it is a fair trade or anything - actually I think Maverick got the better of you - it is only because I now have to play against those two guys this coming week. :p

Trade Update...

Plaw gets Torry Holt (WR - Rams).

IM gets Isaac Bruce (WR - Rams) and Warrick Dunn (RB - Falcons).

IM will release Amos Zereoue (RB - Raiders).

I already did - I don't like the fact that it happens prior to me playing those two guys.

My additional thoughts are;

PL is an old windbag stat geek
Pork - should have a firesale on his team
DB - is a welcher
Scruffy - Writes great Ode's
Turi - Brit Boy gonna get a whopping laid down next time we play

C'mon, stop with the "Scruffy" stuff....after all the praise and luv I heap on you? Besides, I clean up really well.

As far as the reading exercises here? Tell and DB to take it back to the baseball thread. Or they can just simply get a room.

I think I just called DB out. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But I don't have much time left to trash him unmercifully before Sunday.

Okay, RB and PL both want F Taylor...

RB is offering RB Eddie George + New Engl Def
PL is offering part time RB Ducket + WR Patten

I could use the good Def, and apparently also a decent replacement RB and now a WR ( ), but I think I'm leaning toward the better RB...

Anyone wanna kick it up a notch?

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

When I say 'Scruffy' I mean that in only the most positive way.

Although I can understand some of your reluctance to it - Scruffy sounds kind of like a dog term. Although, DB told me in a PM that you do like to have the back of your ears scratched and when you roll over .....
