Here is my first complaint ...

Where are the WOMEN ?? Hey Commish - whata you a Homo ?

Seriously I see only 1, last year we had 2 1/2 women playing. Granted one of them scared me but ....

So 12 spots and 1 'chick' and that one is basically like a guy with curves anyway. :p

The rest is comprised of a few wannabes
a few sissy boys
and 1 Brit

Hell we should have gotten Family Honour - she is both a woman and a Brit - kill the provebial 2 birds with one stone in that one.

So playing with a bunch of guys, there goes all the good lines from last year such as;

looking to get on top
bringing up the rear
coming from behind
Going Deep
etc etc

At least we have Pee D' Bed to enlighten us with his daily stats - always thought provoking and enlightening

If I did the math correctly, we still have 1.5 chicks this year. You gotta remember, Buffy claims she's all-woman.

"E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!" is the chant fans do at Eagles (and Phillies, Sixers, Flyers) games, in case anyone didn't know.

You better hope McNabb doesn't go down because that offense is as worthy as nothing. That over rated D is going to be a problem for them this year too. :p

Even without Mcnabb, the Eagle's ofense is still good. Buckhalter being hurt certainly doesnt help, but I see Brian Westbrook emerging as a great back this year. Plus they have a great O-line, solid tight ends, and a phenomenal reciever in Owens, with good second and third slot recievers in Pinkston and Mitchell. Im the first one to jump on the Eagle trashing band wagon, but you have to admit that they are a force to be reckoned with.

The Eagles are a strong team, just choke a little to often, what was it, 3 times NFC runners up? Buchalter injured is a blow to them but everyone seems to forget Westbrook was their best RB last season. We're laughing anyway with the addition of Duce Staley but our running game is going to suffer because of the injury to Simmons.

On that note, anyone watching the game tonight?

*whisperTOwhisper* :p [/b][/quote]TO? What use is TO if McNabb goes down? Koy Detmer is average at best, but he's also injury prone. AJ Feely is gone. The defense IS over rated. There secondary is absolute shit, save for Dawkins. They lost their 2 Pro Bowl corners, Vincent and Taylor. Trust me guys. I live about an hour from Philly. All that's on the sports shows is Eagles shit. They're very over rated.

You're right, they are a tad overrated, I won't deny it, but I think you're being a tad harsh. McNabb is still a great QB, and what team wouldn't be in the shit if their started went down (except maybe the Giants ). Their defense lost some, sure.

But like Turi said, NFC champ runner-up 3 times is nothing to snuff at. It's not a Super Bowl ring, but look at the Bills. We were the bridesmaid 4 years in a row, we probably should be like they guy who is 22 and still in high school - they just give us the championship because we've been there so long.

All that has happened with the Eagles secondary is that it went from arguably the best, to good. And their defensive line is still incredible and maybe even better due to the addition of Kearse. The Eagles defense is still awesome and dont doubt it.

Yea I agree thats pretty damn pathetic. While its great that they made it to that spot 3 years in a row, the fact that they failed to advance all three times is awful. They are the buffalo Bills of the NFC Championship game.

Last nights game was pretty interesting. Mcnabb showed some amazing form in places, breaking out of tackles and doing some excellent rushing. Jeff Blake did an awesome job too as QB, a fantastic back up. Philly's O line was very good but I was looking at the Steelers mostly.

Duce - what a class act, gives the ball away to an Eagles fan after scoring the first touchdown. But our other backs look strong too, Willie Parker had a strong performance for a spot, and Dante Brown didn't do too bad. Good to see the run doing some good things. It'll take plenty of pressure off our great WR's.

Hopefully we can take plenty of positives from this.

A guy who I thought never got enough credit, I didn't think he was a bad QB. Sort of like a Randall Cunnigham...was hot for a couple of years, but dropped out of the spotlight when he got shuffled from the Bengals.

If we wouldn't have drafted JP Losman, I think the Bills should have picked him up.
