Only the first two rounds were interesting. As soon as they moved into the conference finals and championship round with the one-game-a-night format, it was pretty boring. To gain 5 or 6 points a night was a major victory.
Except for JG last night, of course. He did play it perfectly, having the advantage of having absolutely nothing to lose.
And, of course, thanks for the congrats DB, still My Most Worthy Adversary. Even though you finished third in the playoff hunt, it was you who was chasing me the entire way, so it was you that I was constantly looking over my shoulder for. By the time I would have had to worry about JG, the game was over.
And a special mention to SP and TM. I'm proud of both of you kids. You didn't "Wuss Out" and stop playing like some (well one, anyway) of our other fantasy players. You stayed the course for the entire regular season and playoff run, and you both would have done much better had you each not missed so many damn days. Tell your parents or something that fantasy sports is just as important as homework because picking a team every day builds discipline and character.
