I considered doing that myself, but decided that 1) Cassell is not 100% physically 2) The PG position is usually the second-most unpredictable, but with the matchups in this series it's probably the most unpredictable. 3) Madsen averaged about 5 fantasy points a game in the Sac series. He had 13 rebounds one game 4) He may see more time, depending on how generous the refs are to Shaq with the foul calls. "Difficult....not impossible"

Most people went with the Payton-Madsen combo, but quite a few used Sprewell & Malone with Cassell, Shaq & Kobe, and sacrificed KG. I only looked at the top 15 or so and nobody had the JG solution, but one guy went without a coach. "Difficult....not impossible"

So he basically traded to get the expected gain of Casell over Payton, for, let's say, the 50/50 chance of 5 points for a coach and, considering that Trent doesn't even play, an almost definite loss of a few points in not having Madsen. Like I said, the PG position is too unpredictable here to sacrifice much to have Cassell over Payton. Another combo that cam up a few times was Hoiberg and Malone instead of Kobe and whoever. I looked at the possibilities for the finals, and then constructed a team for each scenario based on their being one game a night. There are only a few scenarios out of the four possible matchups where, in my opinion, except for the coach, you could have a legitimate argument for picking either player. Every other pick for that night will be fairly obvious. So what that probably means is that the finals will become a bit if a psychological battle with me playing defense, and depending on the size of my lead, at some point you will have to take a Tinsley over a Billups and cross your fingers and hope for the best. Based on the matchups, and the fact that we may have as few as 10 and as many as only 17 opportunities left, and it's impossible for anyone to know how exactly how many there actually will be, that point may be sooner rather than later. Of course, that doesn't take into account JG breathing down your neck for third, and how much protecting second place means to you. "Difficult....not impossible"
