I was perusing the public message board on the game site to see what other players had to say about the Minn-Sac screw up, and found a post in which someone (obviously more dedicated than even we are) pointed out the reason why some players are listed in duplicate.

He said that those who were listed twice were guys whose team originally had a first round game scheduled for tonight had their respective series gone that long.

Sure enough, when I checked my roster for tonight it showed Bibby & Christie each vs. Minn and Dallas, and KG vs. Denver and Sac.

I also looked at the leaderboard, and altho I only checked out a few rosters, I did find a couple who picked only NO-Mia players tonight.

I don't know if the problem of not showing all the players who are in action on a particular night is gonna get fixed or not, but since everyone should now be aware of the problem, I say let everyone be on their own going forward in making sure that they know who's playing on a given night and making their picks accordingly.

Kind of like doubleheaders.

Actually, I had absolutely no idea! I was about to go to bed when I decided to log-on one last time - just to check how the Angels game was going. Then I saw JG's PM and messages in the thread!

Nah. BD, the wuss, hardly ever reads this thread. He only posted here a few times, and only because there was nothing going on over in baseball. Any mudslinging will be there. Not to take anything away from your magnificent achievement, but, as DB pointed out, you and 4,129 other people.

well but there's nothing to do about it, and I'm so happy with the way the Pistons played last night that nothing else matters

So, DB, I gotta ask (even though I don't necessarily expect a 100% truthful answer -- or, at least, for you to divulge any strategy )...

What made you not pick Bibby, after what he did for you the other night? I doubt if you were playing "defense" (Did I have Davis the night you had Bibby? I don't remember)

No real strategy into it Plaw (which proved to be my downfall last night). You remember that I didn't find out about the Minn-Sac game until late. I just went first with my two biggest weak spots - replacing Caron Butler and whoever I had a PF (I think it was P.J. Brown). Once that I saw that I could fit KG and C-Webb in there nicely without going over 100, I didn't even look at changing the other spots (and in the process, forgetting Bibby was available).

That's a bitch.

Looks like this race is gonna go right down to the wire if they keep playing only one game a day. I can't see anyone opening up any big leads here.

I just looked at the choices for tomorrow. Not a PG anywhere to be found. :rolleyes:

Wade plays the point for Miami when he and Jones are both in, which is most of the time.

I can't remember the last good PG that Indiana had.

Mark Jackson (at the end of his career) probably, Travis Best maybe... Tinsley did well in his first year, but he hasn't improved since.

I said good PG. Jackson was pretty much washed up, and Best never was.

Anyway, I looked at tomorrow. Except for Center & Coach, there's a legitimate choice at every position. Definite possibilities for movement.

Legitimate choice? I would put it as a "void of choices".

Speaking of Dwayne Wade, here's a guy that, I think, gets it. I see him as a lesser talented Ray Allen, but I think he'll be a good pro for years. He seems to be able to turn it on during the important games - last year, it was with Marquette; this year, it's in the NBA playoffs.

He sure didn't share the love (or points) for me yesterday... :rolleyes:

Tony Parker was unbelievable last night... That crossover on Devean George... Watching the NBA playoffs is enjoyable. This is the first time all year (other than going to live Bulls games, of course) that I actually sat down to watch an NBA basketball game. Usually, Kobe is very smooth with his moves. Last night, he was so herky-jerky.

Some main event plaw - Foster vs. Grant! For some reason, I don't think they'll focus on this matchup on SportsCenter.

Well, they should. Our fantasy match-up should go down as one of the great rivalries in (fantasy) sports history.

Tomorrow's main event should be better if we pick different guys. Who are you gonna take? Jefferson or Prince? :rolleyes:
