and they said there would be little or no movement the last two days

I hope last night was as good for you as it was for me. Seeing twenty points up there, even made me look twice.
Bethie, is 10 points more comfortable for you?

Congrats MC on your superb night. It's not that you don't matter. As long as your interests don't conflict with mine I just don't care. Enjoy life at the bottom. It's alot safer.

Sorry, FS. I love ya and all that, but I'll feel more comfortable if you were closer to CB's ass then mine.

Good thing I am above him as of last nights game. I would much rather look up at you my Basement Buddy.

If you look at the league I think it is not that great a distance between any two spots. One or two bad nights and you may fall a few spots.

I KNOW you are not talking about me!!! :p

I'm the one who argued that there would be movement before it was all said and done.

Last night I was filled with dread thinking DB with Sosa AND Hafner would probably pull waaaay ahead of me. Luckily my Dodger Blues didn't let me down and lucky the limp Johnson didn't last too long.

I feel like we are doing the tango. So many steps one way and then SWITCH!!! and go the other way.

This explains my lackluster performance. I don't know how to tango.

Yes, but like you said. You do alot of jiggling

You are right you never know with Johnson, but his price is right and you have some more room on Offense. Hey, I am happy with my score last night. I wish I could Avg. that every night except for DH's that is.

Hey Mr. Baseball, When I had that 80 point night without it being a DH (or special reasons) was that at all close to the best score since we have started playing together? If not what was? Thanks. Not crowing here, just wondering what our limit was. I am sure you have statistics on what an Avg. night is knowing you.

Pssssst. FS. Regarding having a higher score then 80 on a non DH night, last half, when I wasn't even playing, I had a 96 night. I have proof. Ask DB. He saw the evidence. Too bad I can't really gloat about it.

It's amazing how today's pitching choices were such crap, and tomorrow there are nine viable (or nearly viable) coices:

Clement, Ishii, Wright, Oswalt, Peavy, Sheets, Vasquez, Buehrle, Glavine, and Sabathia.

I guess it's tough to make a pick either way...

Hey, I got screwed out of Flaherty today.

His lifetime record against Zito is 3-12 with 3 homers. Day game after night game. I was listening to the game, and the Yankee announcers were amazed that he wasn't playing.

Plus, Preston Wilson is a DNP so far. But that I deserve. I don't know what possessed me to pick that stiff.

Including today,

17-7, 2.62 E.R.A., 20.54 PPD

Subtract the two doubleheaders from her E.R.A., ('cause I'm sure if the were no DH's she wouldn't have taken the Baltimore & Boston PS those days) and her E.R.A. is an unbelievable 2.25

Except for the DH's, she's only had two days out of twenty when her PS gave up more than four runs.
Code:
No Runs 4 times 4-0
One Run 2 times 2-0
Two Runs 6 times 3-3
Three runs 4 times 3-1
Four runs 2 times 1-1 (once in 11 innings)
Five runs 1 time 1-0
Six runs 1 time 0-1
Trying to jinx her? Who me? I don't believe in all those jinxes and curses. This is a game of skill.

What is Jeff Bagwell's deal? I made two lousy throws in the game tonight, and the announcers more or less said Houston knows he can't throw. Then why the hell have him in the game. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. But why have a guy play offense if you know he's lousy? Why not have him DH?

Did Plaw just jinx himself?

Well, for starters, they don't have the DH in the National League. :p

Well that would explain that? They should invent it just for losers like him.

And Houston fired their manager? Seems like they need to fire the players.

Thanks for correcting my position blunder there Plaw. You really are getting to be an Ass Commissioner.

That Reverse-Curse worked a little -- both shut outs broken up in the 6th, incl a homer from Edmonds
