Jeter actually holds a bit of local aura because he played for the Cleveland Indians farmteam, the Buffalo Bisons. As did Brian Giles, Richie Sexon, etc...wow, good players do occasionally come out of Buffalo (doh! fuckin' scott norwood. Never mind. )
