I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

The Yankees are always tough in New York. Whether it’s the “mystic” or would be “ghosts” in Yankee Stadium or the fact that the Yankees are just a tremendous home team, you cannot count the Yankees out of it. It’s still anybody’s series to claim.
The fish have great team speed, decent starting pitching, the best manager in baseball, a lot of youth, and enthusiasm.
The Yankees have Petite and Mussina going the last two games which will work in their favor I am sure, but overall the Yankees aren’t hitting. Soriano has struck out on over 40% of his post-season at bats. Giambi has a sore leg. The only Yankees that are really hitting are Jeter, Matsui, and Williams. The Marlins seems to have a new hero each time they win. I am going to say the Marlins will win the series in 7 games.

What an amazing game! Josh Beckett was absolutely phoenomenal the whole game, pitching a complete game shutout on 3 days rest. I do believe the Marlins played better, and the Yankees didn't get away with it this time. The Marlins never gave up, and that's why they deserve to be world champions. Congratulations to Jack McKeon, winning a World Series after 30 long years!
Don't get me wrong, the Yankees made some great plays in that series; I too thought that they would somehow pull it off. Joe Torre showed a lot of class after his heartbreaking loss, and I give him credit for leading this team to what it is today. I wonder how many people Steinbrenner is going to fire?
