I don't follow baseball but can anyone tell me what happen between Pedro and the fat guy that he knocked to the ground? And what was the outcome of Pedro's actions against the fat guy?

I'm now watching the playoffs faithfully because of the rivalary between the Boston Red Soxs and the Yankees.
