If somebody throws a punch at another player, that person is naturally going to retaliate. Pedro simply blocked the punch and pushed Zimmer out of the way, and the constant replays prove it. I would expect the hit batter to charge after Pedro, but Zimmer?? Did he actually think he was going to win that battle, or accomplish something for that matter? He was just looking for trouble, in fact BOTH TEAMS were throughout that game.
Zimmer is old school. Like they said on Baseball2Night last night on ESPN after the game, in the old school, you went after the guy who
started the shit. Pedro hit Garcia, and Clemens pitch wasn't even close, but they figured they could pull some crap.
Zimmer did what I think every Yankee fan wanted to do, and I applaud him
