Man, plaw, you just brought back a flood of memories with those (Braves') names.

There were two names that were forbidden to be spoken in my house back in the late 50's. One was Adolf Hitler and the other was Walter O'Malley, but I still secretly rooted for my beloved Dodgers for a few years. Outwardly, though, I cheered on the Braves. Loved the awesome power of Adcock, Matthews and Aaron.

Dunno why I just thought of this, but the NL sure had some great first basemen then ...Adcock, Hodges, Cepeda, Musial, Dick Stuart, Frank Robinson.....
