I think you should talk trash today- get some people squirming a little bit more. I, on the other hand, am fine with the position I'm in now. I started yesterday in 3rd and ended up in 2nd. Can't complain about that!

So PL is in first place. A long and tough struggle from the basement to first yet you did it and nobody can take that away from you. And not only did you do it but you accomplished this task with all the class, grace and dignity that we have all become some accustomed to with you. I almost got that all out without getting sick. Now I have an 11:00 meeting with a vomit taste in my mouth.

Gosh, I was in 1st place for what, 2 weeks, and I never got a beautiful soliloquy (sans vomit) from Bad Daddy. He really IS his honey!

Ok, I would like to say I wake up this morning and put last night behind me. Unfortunately, the only thing BEHIND me is a Pork Chop who is a little too close for comfort.

There is a long sordid story on how I was set to pick Mussina (yum) for last night's game and how I had a last minute freak out and went with the Giants and the big goose egg. Even with the Yankees 28 points added to my score, I still would be sitting in 3rd. But I would almost be close enough for an honorary *. 14 points offense? I mean my best guy did 4!!

Wow, maybe I am not over it after all....

Momentary freak out and 2 minutes later I was picking the Giants. Good thing too, I honestly considered the Braves!

Moral: Never let others influence your gut instinct! Although the furious ass kissing afterwards eases the pain a little bit.

Sorry to break the bad news to you Bad Daddy, but the simulations last night told me that the Giants will give up 5 earned runs in the first inning, 3 more in the third and 4 more in each of the 5th, 7th and 8th innings. Offensive explosion! But they did get a 1-2-3 inning in the 9th!

Again last night the 49-69 .415PCT Mutts took the games from the 73-45 .619PCT San Fanciso Team?
