Hey Everyone... I'm back! Man, am I glad just to get back to work. I'm not actually moved into my new condo yet. I had to move my things into storage, while the construction finishes. I didn't want to impose on any of my friends, so I decided to stay with my brother and his wife in a Chicago suburb. My commute goes from 15 minutes each day to two hours! Anyway, other than moving on Thursday, I actually had a cousin fly in from the Philippines and I played host for the weekend. This explains why I haven't been able to post on here (but it hasn't kept me from at least changing my fantasy team! ) We went to the Cubbies/D-backs 3 hour rain-delayed game. If any of you were wondering, we didn't stay the whole time. We waited for a little over an hour, decided to leave for dinner and when we were walking back to the train to go home, we heard a loud "Let's Play Ball!" Anyway, I'll be camping out at my brothers for the next few days/weeks and he doesn't have a DSL or any high-speed internet access. Dial-up is so s-l-o-w. Hopefully, nothing happens after I leave work so I won't have to change my team. O.K., that's it for my update. I've read through the three pages or so that I missed. Pretty stimulating conversations you guys got going on here... :p Oh yea, Bad Daddy, have a nice vacation!

Right up my alley, however rain is not. Rain depresses THIS sunshine girl. I'd tell y'all about my weekend, but I'd have to kill each and everyone of you. What else is depressing? Probably NOONE is visibly excited by today's picks but to make matters worse - THREE games only today, all later tonight. Might make for a very quiet day.

Yes, all hail to the new leader! Nothing really changed much except your big jump and things have gotten a little closer in spots! Both Bethie and Pl decided not to take Zero and save some money and not risk negative numbers I see. Do you think they were trying to pull the wool over our eyes by posting that I myself kept a few players and will take the middle ground and saved a few bucks. Big Daddy did the same. Many values did go up. Can we really feel that HH is really playing since he doesn't ever change a thing? I guess it is his right and his own system. Or does it just show us that keeping one team will produce just so much. By the way F the Phillies!

There is the word "not" in that sentence... Taking a PS that is not playing today to get the "for sure" zero instead of negative points is ridiculous. Where is the risk taking in that? Isn't that what this game is all about? No risk, no rush, no fun.

No not me. How can you mistake a with a hot girl in a bikini? A sure zero would be comforting if you really thought you were gonna crash and burn badly. But then how boring would that be? Besides a rainout = zero. What's the difference? I've crashed and burned worse than anybody at times. You just have to learn the art of landing on your feet and never giving up. Whining makes me feel better at those times, too.

No guts, no glory. Yeppers DB...words to live by in more than just fantasy baseball. More words I live by. Live for Today. I completely understand the importance and strategy of building a team and using the salaries to your advantage by picking a player and sticking with him. But I so don't do that. Live for Today...meaning who within my 50 million dollar contraints is gonna perform for me TODAY. We're talking being intuitive, almost psychic in picking the scrub who will have a big day. Hey, I never said I was GOOD at it! As with MOST everything in life, there is no hard or fast rule, nor a right or wrong way to do it. Like craps, it is a roll of the dice. Like poker, it's a flip of the cards. And knowing not to put a scrub like Grudzelaniek on your roster for AT LEAST another month!

No Buffy I was posting to Bethie. She seem angry for some time now? DS those prices really did seem to jump some! That is why I went with most who are playing and kept three of the ones I wanted, who I thought may of jumped. Tuff choice on another Monday. Can almost be as bad as missing that Double Header and missing out on a chance for those BIG points! Oh well!

Yes, but when I gamble I can feel if my dice or cards are running hot or cold! A game isn't as much fun without a bet! So no easy pass for me either. I will tell you that there is a big difference at sitting at the $5.00 table and sitting at the $100-%500 table. Or sitting at the quarter poker game then the $20-$40 dollar game. You don't just ride thur the hands and throw money in! That is unless you are Bill Gates!

Wasn't that you who posted that? I know what I POSTED Cam, no need for the remind. You said I TOOK a zero today. My teams are playing, so how is that possible. Well, this has been a ride, but tired of playing with phonies. You all have a swell time. CYA!

(Bethie inspired :p ) FS, the players I had the most heartburn giving up were Jose Guillen and Javy Lopez. I knew they would go up the maximum, but still, I needed to do something to get away from that smell coming from the basement... What did you do down there, plaw?! :p

I find it a bit interesting that 3 of the people who were top 4 last half ( and NOONE can take that away from us, EVER!) are now setting up basement housekeeping. Believe me, I feel an incredible pull trying to suck me in down there. Who said earlier misery loves company?

No I will not use you pillow, but I think someone's cat may have taken it over. It sure looks like cat hair all over it. Folks make sure you clean up after yourselves before you leave! I have been lucky and have been to the mountain top. This is good and it smells so much cleaner. Could it be less bullshit flowing down hill? Or is all the trash talk is in the lower level apartments? I bet most will have their shot at the top sooner or later, some of you had it the first half so I don't want to hear any pissing or moaning! Unless you are having sex that is! I will tell you that it doesn't take much to get you to or from the top, just one bad night or one miss doubleheader or rainout!

Dang, you guys! What this game does to people....makes you CRAZY! Do I remember JG mentioning something about PG-13? Brought to you by Curse of Pork: Fantasy Baseball - Uncut. DoucheMan: You're gonna hit a nerve with SC - he loves cats and is probably no stranger to a little cat hair here and there.... also DB, very interesting that you REMEMBER how you came up with your PS pick today. I don't know how the hell I came up with White Sox ...I know it was a process of elimination of SOME kind. Twisted logic in reverse and upside down & spinning, no doubt!

Howdy everyone Hope all are behaving themselves, have only had the chance to look through a few of the posts here but looks to be a crazy day. Where is PL to keep you guys (and gals) in line. So there is no phone line but my wireless modem works - isn't technology grand. Would love to stay and chat with you all - (not really ) but trying to be nice. Seems like DB is back - hope nothing got broke in the move - and I hope a lot happens at night when you are unable to make changes - I know it is cheap but it is all about winning and I am a pretty shallow person, but at least I am honest. But I do hope all goes or went well with the move. And what did SC move also? If so hope that went well for you also - gee everyone is moving on up now. And thank god Buffy did well over the weekend or we would have had to listen to the whining of how she was away and the weekend is her crash and burn - blah, blah, blah, blah blah. :p So my observations at the beach - it didn't take me long to remember all I love about the beach - PL discussed this when he was away. But also to remember what I don't like about the beach. For example men should not really wear speedo bathing suits - ok I look good in one, but that is for private shows only but why do men over the age of 60 feel compelled to wear them And also woman who are over the age of 50 or over the 200lb mark should not wear 'bikini's ' also Ok sorry to take this off of business - I will try and get you back on track - if you have the Phils and they need to bring in the bullpen - it is over. Allright time for a drink and back to vacation.

Was Bad Daddy gone? Did he go somewhere? Hmmm, I didn't notice. Teach him to talk smack to me. Crash and burn, indeed. Whining - scoff.... Btw, I look killer in a bikini. But gosh, I was never invited to the beach this week. Some people have some nerve.

Hmmm... so who won Week 17??? Congrats Buffy on your Week 17 win. I'm glad you waited until the week was over before you congratulated yourself! :p In other news... Do I regret not going with my first choice, Baltimore? Not yet... 1 - 0 Twins after the top of the 1st inning...

I freakin' knew it!! Last night: "Should I keep Javy tho he's not playing, and keep him at the lower value, or should I put in a catcher who's playing?" (repeat that 10 times, then:) "Ahh, I better maximize my points with this roster I have... I'll worry about Javy tomorrow..."
Fuckin'-A!!! I pick Greg Myers and the biotch doesn't even play today?!!?
