It's funny you should say that! I'm thinking of decorating the place with an Asian feel (makes sense since I'm Asian).
[/b][/quote]Yes, I know all about each and every one of you and since my decorating tips are not needed as of yet in the basement - here are a few hints: Go with a rich cherry wood and accent with black - no taking the easy way out with use of black laquer furniture. White or ivory, stark window coverings - get warmth in the place with use of floor coverings(throw rugs) and a nice drape over ONE window. Candles. Bonsai and voila!!!!

Hey Bethie, if you got the money, I got the stuff! :p

We just surpassed the "Let's Broke the Record" game thread- you know the one, the one that you play a double agent and post on.

I made that Broke thread what it is. But even a double agent has SOME loyalties. Now that we surpassed it life can go on from here.

I got money Doucheman, but not alot. What kind of "stuff" are we talking about?

Can we get back to business here?

Sorry it is just that impression comes so easy for me. Also here is a new one I have been working one;

And look I won week 16 also. Opps nevermind

Thank you, once again I'm here till the end of the week.

Well thanks to my foresight taking Mueller according to the official rankings on ESPN, I have as I stated yesterday changed my scenery. Right now DB and I share the same bus seat but the view in front of me is new and refreshing. I'll enjoy it while I can cause I plan to continue working my way for some new views.

Oh DB if it makes you feel any better last week FS was tied with me and look what it has done for him. See I guess sticking with me is a good think in life.

BD, it was good to share a spot with you, but now it is time to get your rear in gear and come on up to the mountain top, and like Don Vito once said, stop playing with the ladies! They may hurt you anyway!

Good Pick on having Boston's Mueller- I guess smart minds think alike. What are the odds of doing something like that? If he would do it once a week I would be a happy man!

By the way, They don't even have a cooler up here, they have Beer Taps, cold frosty Mugs, and they come with a BIG screen TV!

I hear he can get some from Rafael in Texas ...

Noone wants to claim Wood today. Good thing. Sure makes the thread quiet though when the boyz are not all talking all day about theirs.

The girls await the day a pitcher comes on named Juggs or Hooters.

Wood has not been getting deep enough recently. Oh and the boyz - we still talk about Wood on days he doesn't pitch we just do so in a different thread.

And regarding Juggs or Hooters - I bet either would be a good bet for a double header, but speaking only for myself I could see myself latching onto 'Hooters' whenever available.

Speaking of names, some players have really weird names. A couple of my favorites:

- Jung Bong
- Coco Crisp

By the way, Jason Schmidt is throwing a perfect game through 4 innings.

Of course he is... because I almost chose him but didn't. But I hope that's broken up, big time; I have Sosa today

You ALWAYS "almost" choose the right pitcher!! I'm sure I "almost" pick about 5 pitchers before I finally rationalize to the point of pain and by process of eliminating every LAST bad detail about the other pitchers, SETTLE for my pick (which as of late is usually a SCRUB!)

Not picking on you Pork. But DoucheMan, what did you do with that *WHINE ALERT*? If you are not using it at the moment ...

Oh, the crowd is hard in here.

Question, No one picked the Giants? Was everyone afraid of his elbow and the unknown replacement if he didn't pitch? As of last nighhts info.

Another question- How many of you folks pitched your PS after seeing last nights results? Did they make you change your mind?

I picked Willis cause I like the number 35. A lot of thought goes into my picks, huh.

So FS, enjoying the view from way up there?

Strange... none of us picked Wood.

I know it probably hurts me, but there's just some offenses I don't pick against. That would include the Cubs (Sosa factor) and the Blue Jays (Delgado, Wells ). That's why I didn't pick the Giants. I'm not really too worried about Schmidt's elbow.

Answer #1 - I answered already - I wouldn't have bet against the Cubs - with hitters like Sosa, Grudz and Alou. Oh and Karros on every blue moon that falls on a Tuesday.

Answer #2 - I usually do up a roster during the day, maybe around lunch time. Just in case I do not make it home by the 2 am deadline It is always my intention to "tweak" a bit at night depending on such factors as time, privacy and sobriety. The previous night's PS performance doesn't usually sway me from my original pick - BUT I do look for broken arms, legs and wood.

And no, I don't EVEN look at the weather. Though I know I should, but sheesh, this takes too long as it is!!

Basically all this picking is a crap shoot. The operative word in that sentence being CRAP!

I wonder what happened to 's book he was penning? All that expertise in the first half....what ever became of all that?

So let me ask you DB about this so-called Sosa factor, does it only exist on days that I don't have Sosa, cause I am not sure if he has done much for me whenever I have him?

DoucheMan - my apologies for misspelling Caray's name. Now I know why I had visions of DREW Carey going thru my head!

Chip and I are about the same age. He was born into that job.

What a great job. I want a job where I can talk all day

Talking about sports would be even better! Know any jobs where I can do that?
