So much for my "source" of double-header info, on a reputible website, page entitled "Scheduled Doubleheaders - 2003" (find it yourself :p ).

It WAS erroneously listed as a d-h yesterday, though I thought it strange that I didn't have it marked already, or that it wasn't listed sooner.

Unlike Plaw, I do not have a MUTTS calender! Eww.

My ONLY concern was that player values would change with a roster full of Mutts and Brewers. Thankfully they were late in doing that so I got some players tomorrow for yesterday's price... the least ESPN could do for their fuck-up!

So - no big deal to me...

Sure some guys catch all the breaks! I spent a few extra mins picking my team for today. Worrying about price movement and all. I think I did as well as I would have liked and protected the players that I really wanted. I noticed some I wanted who weren't playing today didn't go up that much and what I saved will make up for the few I have to change back to for Tuesday.
Still I am doing better then I thought for th e first week anyway.

Okay, now I AM pissed! Watching the Philly game. Everyone knows I've had Jose Guillen all season, but I got rid of him for the "double-header", and he just hit a 2-run shot ...against my PS! %$#@!!!

I would have kept Guillen simply cuz I thought the player values were going to go up at 3am. And, if someone *is* going to hit a homer against my PS, I sure would at least like to have that guy to make up some of those lost points. But it's definitely not something I enjoy doing; it was only cuz of the salary changing, I was going to keep him. But, I figured a player in a d-h has more potential. I must've had a huge brain fart making my roster for today. Ugh.

Don't feel bad I have him on my team today, even against my PS. I didn't want to lose the increase that was coming and thought that it would all work out in the end.

To be truthful I was more afraid of a rainout when I picked the PS. When I picked them it was 70% chance of rain for today anyway.

Like I said, there is lots of time to catch up and still win the game and the points. PS points can be made up, but you can not lose the hitters points.

I just noticed Geoff and I share 5 offensive players. Who would have thunk it. All I can say Geoff is I hope your luck improves greatly tonight.
