Hey look, Bethie gets out of the basement for a few days and feels fiesty. Granted I am stuck on the lower levels with the likes of Pork and PL - but we are making the most of it. Don't even joke about that - you know I have -48 points the last three days from my PS. If they didn't play I would in like 5th place - just by not playing and getting me 0 - if they played and got me say 6 points a day - not much - I would be close to first.

If I get minus points again tonight, than I am going to be like PL and not play this game anymore.

Hey that sounds pretty good - I can use that later, I can hear it now - 'you know if I didn't get -50 points in the first week of the season ....'

At least when you were using the 10 days late excuse, it bordered a legitimate excuse. You had no choice but to get zero points.

Now, you might as well say, "If my picks in the first week weren't so inept, then I would have placed higher." :p

I think the excuse that might work better is "If only the Curse of the Pork didn't infect me that first week, then I would have placed higher." :p

No problem, I think we all agree that you find your way there on your own but I can pretty guarantee if you use my PS you will get there in a much faster timeframe. :rolleyes:

The Expos just spotted Vasquez 5 runs for a 5 - 0 lead. I think all scoring should just stop now!

Hey Buffy, I'm watching the Phillies/Cubs and spotted your man Karros. I agree whole heartedly. The fuzz on his face must go. What is he trying to look thug or something? OK - back to business. I just got online check the scores and saw that Arizona gave up 2 runs in the first. I was like WTF - can't I at least get a few innings of plus points - but when I checked the ESPN site found out the neither was earned . So basically for the first time since last Saturday I think as of 10:48pm my PS is actually in the plus. I am so proud - just thought I would share.

Damn! I saw those two runs up there, and never thought to look and see if they were earned

And I had visions of crawling out of the basement tonight.

JJ - there has been talk of doing a FF league here but not sure who is orchestrating that - or what site would be used. I usually play in 2 seperate leagues every year so this one would be a 3rd. Ah, I could handle it I suppose.
