7 damm points from 4th to 1st. Unfreakingbelievable.

EDIT: Ok, Geoff, if ESPN isn't down how come my scores yesterday have not totalled? When I log on my score is still at 250.

And, yeah, I picked Philly again even after that debacle of -35 points. I'm going by the notion that lightning doesn't strike twice.

We didn't get as much movement as we thought, even with different pitching staffs, huh Buff!

But you know what, I'll take being 2nd! :p

Again, there was no clear cut choice for pitching staffs today.

One lousy afternoon game and none of our pitching staffs are involved.

By the way, unbelievable trade yesterday. Jesse Orosco for cash or a player to be named later to the Yankees! Great trade! :p

As a Cubbies fan, I really liked the Lofton-Ramirez trade. Expectations are tempered though... Watch the pitcher the Cubs gave up be the next Dontrelle. But all in all, a good trade... They need a 3rd baseman and a centerfielder and they got both.

So that just leaves me and SC with Philly. Hmmmm...could be interesting. plaw needs his pitching and hopefully I get some downright awesome hitting. Today is gonna be a real nail biter. And the bad thing is I don't have any nails now.

Saw that. I like it too! (As an NL fan of course, not Cubbies, cough-hack-cough)

Imagine my confusion last night watching my Dodgers play and seeing Rickey and Jeromy in Dodger blue! Weird.

btw DoucheMan - walk over to Wrigley and tell Karros to shave off that DISGUSTING beard. 2 words: GOAT-TEE! :p

Well technically I did not get a color - but I guess you may not be aware of the fact that I did start 10 games late :p I thought I might have mentioned that once in the past - guess you might have missed it.

And let me say that with the view I got now behind JGeoff - let's just say I now understand why you fought so hard to get into second place.

Will do... :p

I'm sure you know also, Buffy, that Karros has pretty much become the full-time 1st baseman for the Cubbies, against lefties or righties. Won the job outright. I guess he wasn't the used-up hack we all thought he was!

Well since WGN is a staple station around here, yes, that makes me happy that he has more television air time....hence the need for a haircut and grooming

Well don't flatter yourself - the view for me wasn't that great :p

But to make PL happy - back to business;

Regarding that sissy Karros - it seems the Choi never got back into a groove since his collision with Wood. Do you think that had something to do with it (getting hurt) or you think he is just running out of gas.

Probably both but most likely, I think it's just because he's a rookie in his first full major league season. He's not used to the pitchers yet. Defensively though, he's been alright.

I watched the Cubs play this past weekend and yes Choi was having a rough time and they kept replaying that collision and talking about the after effects. Just like Giles is still having problems from his collision with Wood and that happened a few weeks ago! The problem is Choi's head hit the hard, packed ground - not the grass. It could really have had an impact...

And you are saying you didnt like the view behind ME?????? Surely, you jest. Of course, again noone wanted to bet pictures so the best I can give you is

What, you play for both teams or something?

I thought Giles colided with Prior ? Not sure, you seen one Cub you seen them all. Regarding Choi's head hitting the ground maybe that having an impact - hmm yes I think the impact is what gave him the problems. :p

Who are you referring your comment about not liking the view and teams - me or DB?

No, the view behind you was great!

But with you switching back and forth with Pork, it's like having a great steak dinner one day and then SPAM the next day. Steak dinner, spam, steak dinner, spam... Very poetic, I know! :p

No, I only play for one team. Not that there's anything wrong with the other one. :p You might ask Bad Daddy though, I heard he switch hits every now and then. Guineapig told me so. :p

So let me get this straight... how is my future wife going to get a big screen TV again??!

Yes, Bad Daddy...my bad. Prior? Yes, that's right. Guess I have Wood on my mind. When should this morning be any different than any other? Yes, I remember that collision well. I was watching that game at the Denver ESPN zone - on my 3rd margarita.....

And you are disecting my english?

It is 2 hours earlier here, which means it is not even 9:30 yet. And I am on 5 hours sleep.

Let's make an appointment for me to smack you - but later this afternoon.....

I stand corrected..... (and sober).

Hey, you've seen one pitcher in puka shells, you've seen them all.

Wood, Prior, Farnsworth......all wearin' the chokers. It distracts me

Geoff, I do expect the Astro's to do well today!
Don't let anyone give us any crap!
Looks like we are the only ones who feel that Houston was the way to go.
It is good to see that many have taken different staffs.

Wow Douche-Man. Have you seen my roster? It'll almost be like looking in a mirror!

I checked yours out since I will first covet your position. Can't bother looking at the bargain basement peeps - not enough time in the day to do so.

Ok...so when did Vidro strain his knee? I don't get east coast games over here so granted I didnt SEE that happen last night. That is what I get for making my roster up at lunchtime, huh?

Ah, to have a "*" next to one of my players. Damaged goods. Oh the shame. I was uninformed. Somebody pinch me.
