No, no, no - I am not gone - what leave now? Actually I have been away most of the weekend but have been having major internet issues. Last night while trying to modify my roster it was horrible, the web has been slow but this was my connection. Somehow I got out of the league, but no matter what I could not even see the league to rejoin - I think it was all DNS problems. But today all seems OK now - and I am back in first - where I belong so all is good in the world.

I was not even able to boast of my triple digit night, but I have to at least thank PL. He has asked me to write an introduction for his upcoming book and sent me an excerpt to read. Just follow his simple rules and look what happens. Has inspired me to write my own book - I will call it "From the Basement to the Penthouse - You All Can Kiss My Ass - How is the View?"

I know it is a bit long but conveys a feeling close to me.

So what some of you think I would spend all last half squeak my way into first now and leave - and give Buffy a free ride to first - no way - and what take away this view from her

I had a hard time as well. I picked the White Sox as well. It was more an anti-Detroit pick and hopefully, Loaiza can keep it up. He pitched pretty well in the All Star game.

I also had a tuff time logging and waiting to change my players. I changed a couple and about 11:45-11:50 I couldn't get a change to my PS so I left it alone. Must be thousand of people logged on and checking their scores or changing they teams at the final hour ot two!

Regarding the Crash and burn in one day chapter - I am writing that as I speak. And the emitocon that I am using now - pay attention - it is the one with the hand and all 5 fingers and slowly all but one lowers. :p

And the -14 was awhile back it is worse now . So let me ask anyone - does Florida have professional relief pitchers or was this some special today where they let anyone from the stands just come down and pitch a few innings. :rolleyes:

PL - regarding JGeoff's old copies of Playboy - a bit of advice, I wouldn't touch them if I was you but if you have to, make sure to wash your hands afterwards.

Regarding taking Florida cause the Cubs would be tired - not sure how the Cubs being tired helps since Florida is playing the Expos.

Lastly - what the hell is going on this second half, how are we letting a few girls beat us - not to mention Buffy and BB. :p And you know what really sucks - we got two girls on top of us and we are only talking baseball.

Second of all, all this whining about the basement. The difference between first place and last place is probably 2 good scoring days, roughly 100 points. The difference between 1st place and 6th place is only 36 points. Still a very tight, tight race, I doubt ANYONE is relaxing right now.

Everytime I go the ESPN site and while I'm switching pages in our league site, I get this pop-up that says:

Does anyone else get this pop-up? I got a new computer last Friday and I've never had this pop-up before?
