I can't click on "Second Half". There's no line under it. To get the second half scores in correct order, I have to click on "Week 16 only".

Prior to the break, I didn't want the rankings to start all over....OBVIOUSLY...so I pretty much psyched myself up for everyone to start at zero. Now this site is messing with my head! I feel so out of control!

It is gonna make it more challenging to figure out 2nd half standings.

It appears I have the dark horse pick in pitching today. Be it good or bad, those points will be mine alone. And of course, the weekend is approaching and I am usually not around, so I can't help but have a nervous feeling about it all...

I guess we'll just have to do it ourselves. Not a big deal.

Ok, I think the easiest way to view current 2nd half standings is to click on Week 16 (or whatever week we happen to be in...) and look in the second to the last column "PTS". This will give us totals for the 2nd half only. The very last column will combine both halves for a whole total.

We can actually have a 1st half winner , a 2nd half winner and the Grand Poobah winner of both. Just hope they are not all the same person!!!

No I don't think creating a new league would help since we all have accounts with past standings they would only move over. It is probably best to just look at the Current Week as Buffy said and take it from there - maybe ESPN will tweak in the future to have purely a second half - although I like the place I am overall than the second.

Now I see Schmidt is not pitching for SF tonight - this is twice in two days that the pitching probable was changed and I even checked last night and it was still him. I got friggin Powell his 15.00 ERA against the Rockies

The Second Half points this should be fixed. It was never combined like that in the past, and there always seems to be some little growing pains in the beginning of each season, even the second one. They'll clear it up (or at least better).

As for Schmidt, Bad Daddy, I had him, too. But then I saw indications that he might not play because in two sources it said Bower was gonna pitch Friday. One one page it even said Bower was gonna pitch Fri and Sat, though on the game preview page -- and on probables -- it still said Schmidt. When there's a contradiction like that, you GOTTA research it. I popped into the Messageboard and saw threads about Schmidt, many people quesitioning whether he was playing, and one post actually said he was given another day due to having pitched in the All-Star Game. So cursing and grumbling I switched him. And of course, had to switch some others.

An another note, I can't believe Griffey is done for the year again... bastid can't stay healthy any more.

You're right Pork, the site DID fix itself. As of now, the first half totals are visible, but the rankings are based on the scores of the second half. Like I said, I was in 3rd either way

Oh yea, it looks like the Center for Disease Control should put out an alert:

The Bad Daddy Curse has mutated into a new form for the second half. It infects the pitching staff picks by making you believe that you're going into the day with one pitcher, but then making a switch to another pitcher (usually worse) when you can't do anything about it.

We should have paid attention to it when it happened at the end of the first half! :p

They still don't have it exactly correct.

When you click on "view results, first half only", they don't show the correct order of finish, but rather the order of the current standings, and the total they show is the second half total, not the first.

I wanna be able to go back to the first half results and revel in my glory. Of course, it doesn't really matter--I'll be back on top soon enough.

PL - That's why I posted the final rankings from season one a couple pages back. I'm sure they'll fix it eventually...
